I cannot begin to tell you how I felt on Thursday, April 3rd, the day of my opening act for CWIMA's national convention.. I was so sick that I could barely hold my head up. I just wanted to lie down on the carpet and not move. This was after being up since 4:30 a.m. with unspeakable flu.
I left for Dallas at noon. I couldn't make it. Half way I had to get off the freeway and just sleep in my car. I have never done that before in my life. Woke up, drove rest of way to Dallas, stopping to get a potato from Wendy's. lst food all day. Only could eat about a fourth.
Got to the venue for the conference, and started to feel a little better. Still had to sit down while organizing my props. Told the women in charge my dilemma, and they prayed for me. I knew you were praying also, from your sweet emails and your faithfulness.
By the time I went on stage, I was a different woman. Felt GREAT!! Went on to do what I think was one of the strongest performances I have ever done. I had a ton of energy and the ladies howled and participated with gusto. It was a HOOT!! We had the BEST time!
And I am here to tell you, it was 1,000% from the prayers that were lifted up. There is not one shred of doubt in my mind. I felt so calm and happy and well. And was praising God every second along the way. For His goodness, for displaying His glory, and for YOU, my dear precious friends. I am SOO humbled and honored to call you friends and partners in this ministry!
